I TALK WITH ERIC PICARD,

About his adventures on merchant ships from South America, to Europe, the Middle East, and around the world, to his climbing the ranks to become a Captain of ocean going vessels.  Eric’s career then shifted to diplomacy and international relations through  USAID.  He has been in most of the world’s dangerous places, places where many of us don’t get a chance to go, such as North Korea, Sudan, Sri Lanka, Kosovo, and Iraq.

The last several years, Eric has focused on civil and political rights in the developing world.  We discuss the toll this type of work, helping populations on a large scale, can have on people, and some of the tools that are used to keep people healthy and fulfilled.

He is currently exploring a career shift to become a writer.

One of the books Eric recommends in the show is Dan Buettner’s, The Blue Zones.

Enjoy the show!

I talk with the star of the Ultimate Yogi, Travis Eliot.  The Ultimate Yogi is currently the top rated yoga DVD series on Amazon.  But Travis is much more than that – he’s an Ayurveda expert, Kirtan musician, a sought after retreat leader, and the CEO of Inner Domain Media.   We cover a wide range of topic in our conversation including how he found his own among the already crowded field of popular yogis, the importance of rest, trusting your self and your path, and developing a positive mindset with respect to money and spirituality.  We had a great time making this, enjoy!

Travis can be found at www.traviseliot.com and on Facebook at Travis Eliot.

You can purchase Travis’ the Ultimate Yogi here:
